Bradley Schoch
Description
Bradley S. Schoch, M.D., is a Consultant in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Mayo Clinic in Florida. Dr. Schoch specializes in Shoulder Surgery, and has special interests in advanced arthroscopy of the shoulder and computer guided shoulder replacement.
He earned a bachelor's degree in Construction Engineering from the College of Engineering at Iowa State University. He completed his Doctor of Medicine degree and graduated Alpha Omega Alpha from the University of Iowa. Dr. Schoch received his orthopedic surgery training at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, followed by a fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery with The Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Dr. Schoch has authored more than 250 peer reviewed scientific publications and multiple book chapters. He serves as Member of the Exactech Shoulder Arthroplasty Design Team and is the Chair of the Equinoxe Research Advisory Board. Dr. Schoch is active in the design and development of new shoulder replacement implants and rotator cuff repair fixation devices. He is also working in the development of predictive analytics that can be utilized to predict patient outcomes after shoulder replacement in an effort to maximize patient outcomes. Dr. Schoch routinely performs computer guided shoulder replacements, and was one of the first surgeons in the United States to perform this surgery when the technology was introduced in 2017.
